Diversity in Tech, Women in STEM event at IDA

Vanessa presented research about women in design and technology, looking back to women in history who are rarely mentioned, who changed computing as we know it today, and then towards how design is critically impacted by the lack of consideration of the female body, voice, reproductive functions, and even temperature. This talk critically examined what is missing in design and technology and what we need to pay attention to, going forward. Read more here:
